Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy Fold (final shipping version), the first folding phone to ship in the US. This is perhaps the most important phone release since the original iPhone—it’s the first smartphone that folds open to a 7.3” tablet. The admittedly very expensive and somewhat delicate Android phone has an external 4.6” glass OLED display and a striking interior polymer folding OLED 2152 x 1536 display. The inner display is similar in size and aspect ratio to an iPad Mini 5. The Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 855 CPU with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It has 6 cameras, comes with Galaxy Gear Buds 1 year of 24/7 Concierge service. Lisa tested the phone for a few weeks for daily use durability before producing this review.
